Peggy's Column

I thought she sold out Sarah Palin. It bugged me because right or wrong, Sarah Palin stood for something. Peggy wrote a great column though about how our legislators don't get it. I think it sucks, to imagine this nation falling due to a lack of empathy by our leaders.

I used to feel like liberalism was a form of mental illness. Not everyone would agree. I mean, I had to listen to leftist crap blaming Bush for everything. It was scapegoating. When we are mentally ill, we do that. I have been in therapy, and blamed others for my pain, never understanding what I could do to fix things. Bush Derangement Syndrome is still big even with the new president.

Peggy writes about how these people in office don't understand what it is like to be foreclosed on or to lose their job. Not only do they not understand that, they are supported by organizations like the NEA who are so damned insecure, that they only get meaning from self righteous ignorant causes.
