Aww, poor guy just didn't get laid enough....

The new rationale for the Fort Hood Shooter is that he was a loner. It isn't that Islam can be warped as an excuse to kill non-believers. Or that the military and FBI downplayed or ignored danger signals for the sake of being Politically Correct. Even "the Won," is still stuck in this mentality. Or perhaps he is covering his own ass for his incompetent handling before and after this tragedy happened. Now he must stand in Bush's big old boots, but can he fill them?

Well, I need some humor before more crap hits the fan this week. Klavan on the Culture is once again, the voice of rationale. And if that doesn't work, there is always Cartman.

9/11 inanities

Frank DeMartini of Big Hollywood is feeling very angry today. It would be nice to live in a world where all men really wanted peace, but it does not happen. Talking to our enemies, making nice, signing treaties, doesn't make people like us. It doesn't guarantee that men won't make war for their own delusional beliefs. Nor will giving some psycho a podium, justify 9/11 and the death of almost 3000 people.

Rush Limbaugh made a very good point. "
RUSH: Andy McCarthy again here. "So: We are now going to have a trial that never had to happen for defendants who have no defense." That is key to understand what's happening here, folks. They have no defense. They have asked to be executed. They have admitted doing this. They take great pride in having blown up the World Trade Center. And as I said when defendants have no defense for their action there's only one thing for their lawyers to do, and that's put the government on trial in hopes of getting the jury and the media spun up over government errors, government abuses, government incompetence. That's what's going to happen at this trial. It will be a soapbox. Folks, it's going to be a soapbox for Al-Qaeda's case against America!

And if you don't think that they can't find some pro bono ACLU lawyers to go in there and make the case that the United States of America is guilty, you have another think coming. And since that will be their defense, quote, unquote, "that the government of the United States is corrupt, unfair, unjust, and guilty;" the defendants and their lawyers will demand every bit of information they can get about the interrogations, the renditions, secret prisoners, undercover operations targeting Muslims and mosques -- and, depending on what judge catches the case, they're likely to be given a lot of it! Because "fairness," you see, has become the new foundation of the new America; fairness as defined by a bunch of radical leftists.

"The administration will be able to claim that the judge, not the administration, is responsible for the exposure of our defense secrets." There won't be any fingerprints on Holder; there won't be any fingerprints of Obama's attached on this. It's all going to fall on the judge. The judge is going to take the heat and depending on who the judge is, he might enjoy it. I mean there are a bunch of radical leftists on our federal bench as we sit here today. And this circus is going to be played out for all to see. Holder said, "Oh, yeah! We're going to have TV cameras on this, all of this." In the middle of a war we are going to televise to the world exactly how a bunch of leftists lawyers and terrorists think the country sucks.

And before it's all over, their lawyers are going to end up making the case that these guys had cause for hijacking airplanes and bringing down the twin towers. At some point, that's where this goes. We're going to have so much sympathy for the discrimination against people from the "religion of peace" that they were driven to this, why, our association with Israel. And before it's all said and done you're going to find some whack nut jobs on the Upper West Side of Manhattan that are going to be on this jury and who are going to end up thinking, "You know what? We did deserve it. Now we know why they don't like them and maybe we can set the record straight here and grandfathered in peace if we just admit this was our fault." McCarthy: "It will provide endless fodder for the transnational Left to press its case that actions taken in America's defense are violations of international law," and this is going to be destroy the CIA. It will destroy the CIA, exposing virtually everything they've done and the people who did it. It's not good, folks."

And if you can't get enough of his wisdom, sign up for Rush 24/7.

Disgusted with Our Officials

I have been really disgusted with the vote on Sat on the House Health Care Bill. Much of my anger comes from officials willing to vote on something that criminalizes Americans for not buying a 15,000 health care plan. Doesn't matter if they are not doctors who actually deal with sick people. They can just pass laws and pretend to be God.

The Anchoress sums it up quite nicely. Not only has our freedom been given away by these representatives. I know that comparing this Government to a bunch of Nazis gives you the kook label. But looking at this slow progression of laws, shows how laws can escalate to something more evil and destructive. This had to do with being a citizen. Can you be mandated to buy insurance to keep your rights as a US citizen? I while back I watched a gentleman talk about how you should always invoke the fifth because there were so many laws that all of us are criminals in some way, even if by accident.

I think John Voight got it right in An American Carol. Nancy Pelosi and our other elected officials have become more and more like the Phony Prince John in Disney's Robin Hood. They think they know more about our medical needs than those who treat the sick. They learn nothing from history even when they defy rational behavior. Groupthink and mindlessness is alive and well. God forbid, you disagree with us or have better ideas than us. We will Alinisky you. We will rewrite history to glorify the ones who got things done without nasty accountability. All to seem superior and wiser, deconstruct and re-construct.

I bet if we try real hard, we can find other signs of hypocrisy. Someone commented on Gateway Pundit, from the Sex Pistols. "Anger is Energy." Thanks Dr Helen. Hope we are angry enough to protest and vote these bastards out.

Reasons to Watch Pajamas Tv

Well, there is Andrew Klavan, who reminds me of Dean, though I don't know why. This week, he is going to help you get closer to that God Dude.

Stephen Green looks like my husband, when I first met him. And he will help answer why Obama seems bigger than Jesus Christ, well maybe not Jesus Christ. He is legendary, like Jimmy Carter. us.

Hugh Hewitt, writes about how to help soldiers in light of the Ft Hood Shooting.

Ann Althouse has some good thoughts. Why was this guy not vetted better when we do so much of that for other jobs?

And there is comic relief right when you need it. Olberman says enough stupid things in real life to not need his own comedian.

A TidBit About Hasan, the Ft Hood Shooter

I wondered why Malik Nadal Hassan hadn't advanced up the ranks. I guess being a Islamic Proselytizer may have had something to do with it. Lefties can't stand us right wing nut jobs with our pro-life stance, in their face, but someone who is Islamic, killing Americans...is that better?

You know there will be those apologists just as there were on 9-11, who said, we some how asked for this, or he had post traumatic stress syndrome. It wasn't enough to prevent him from using our tax dollar to educate himself. Just enough to prevent him from giving anything back in return. There are those who believe terrorism isn't real or we are just such assholes that we deserve to be bombed. Then there are lessons from Ft Hood which we will learn from in the next few weeks.

Obama says not to jump to conclusions, until the facts are known. Er...yea Guess we should learn from South Park. We can learn from any form of art visual or otherwise.

Swine Flu and the Important Class

I picked this up off of Michelle Malkin. There is an article where Wall Street giants got the Swine Flu vaccines before the neediest. This isn't the first time that the shots have been given to questionable populations. Texas and Massachusetts are inoculating the prison population, first. My own kids haven't been inoculated, for crying out loud. But, there is always a ray of light and humor even in the darkest of dark. Like this.

But Barry gets a free pass, even when children are dying.

This week in review

I find that I think about politics a lot. Perhaps more than I should. I should watch this stuff more often or play Animal Crossing more. Wish I could get into Runescape or Wizards 101. It is fun to escape reality once in a while.

It is always such a difficult balance knowing one's priorities. I read this about Obama's response to the shooting at Fort Hood Texas yesterday. I found Michelle Malkin really good at tracking down information that our politically correct media doesn't want to bring up. Where are all the brave journalists? Or does art imitate life like on the show "V"?

I did find this new website called Double X. I like and I don't know why. I don't necessarily agree with all of it. But it is a amusing alternative to my usual news blogs. It is like the Daily Show for Blogs. This was the last skit from The Daily Show, I enjoyed.

Double X had a interesting article about Dolly Parton, whose music never appealed to me. But there is a lesson in acceptance and hope in Dolly Parton's music even when it seems to come from a different world than many of us are used to.

It had a link to useful article about credit card companies trying to work around new consumer protection laws. There are different ways of trying to become debt free and moving away from the stranglehold of credit card debt. CNNmoney has this clever calculator to help consumers. Whether you use God to manage your debt or something else such as the Motley Fool for financial guidance. It is important to be aware of all the resources that can help you fight credit card debt.

Double X has other articles like, "what kind of mom are you?" Sometimes you need a fluffy distraction. You may need reminders that you may be hipper than you think whether you homeschool or parent in some other way, even if your kids think you are nuts.

Gang Banging...not as sexy as it sounds

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

Even Jesus Hung Out With Low Lifes

...then again, he had humility which is more than one can say for our current president. Here is his spiritual mentor, bashing America, instead of moving the the Communist Paradise he desperately loves.

Vaccines and Other Anxieties

My daughter is Autistic Spectrum, which scientists and parents are still trying to figure out. I tend to think it has more to do with the stuff put in food to increase productivity and stave off the bugs than vaccines. There are people who believe their child got autism from the Thimersol in the vaccines their children were inoculated. But I never knew that this belief would lead to other issues, such as getting the Swine Flu shot.

Damn, I need some humor. Maybe just a bit more. The Fortunate Son is failing on the safety of Americans from the H1N1 virus and you know that if this happened under Bush, there would be frothing at the mouth.

My New Media Find

This was a great expose about people who are afraid to laugh, at Barack Obama.

Thanks heavens, Andrew Klavan isn't. He knows Obama doesn't walk on water. It isn't racist to criticize the dude, despite what you have been told.

We Are Still Paying for Not Electing Him

Lately, I keep wondering how angry Al Gore really is. I mean, he got the popular vote but George Bush won the electoral college. And call me paranoid, but it feels like he is paying us back with the biggest lie, next to the Jews being the cause of all our misery...or is that George Bush?

We are getting a cash-ectomy from this scum bag, once again, and hardly anyone is calling him on it.

More Juvenile Humor funded by Taxpayers

Came across this today. I am reminded of the old saying, "get the children, when they are young." Either it was cigarette companies or some Commie leader or some such thing. Now Sesame Street has come out against Fox News.

I know this sounds like paranoid crap but then I listened to this. I do wonder how many of us do have kids telling us how long to run our bath water, stop smoking, or don't eat so much. Just loving that "hope and change," wait, not that one. This one.

Whining Democrats and Bipartisanship

My husband is often reminding me that Democrats want bipartisanship so they can avoid being wholly responsible when things screw up. When moderate Republicans are pushed out...why don't the Democrats recruit them instead of whining when their enablers are rejected?

Some of us are tired of being told we are throwing away our vote when we want to vote for what we want instead of holding our nose and pulling the lever.

Peggy's Column

I thought she sold out Sarah Palin. It bugged me because right or wrong, Sarah Palin stood for something. Peggy wrote a great column though about how our legislators don't get it. I think it sucks, to imagine this nation falling due to a lack of empathy by our leaders.

I used to feel like liberalism was a form of mental illness. Not everyone would agree. I mean, I had to listen to leftist crap blaming Bush for everything. It was scapegoating. When we are mentally ill, we do that. I have been in therapy, and blamed others for my pain, never understanding what I could do to fix things. Bush Derangement Syndrome is still big even with the new president.

Peggy writes about how these people in office don't understand what it is like to be foreclosed on or to lose their job. Not only do they not understand that, they are supported by organizations like the NEA who are so damned insecure, that they only get meaning from self righteous ignorant causes.

Hell of a Week for Scozzafava

It has been a hell of a week for Dee Dee Scozzafava When I was younger and working with my husband on the Andre Marrou campaign with the Libertarians; Dean used to tell me that there was not a dime's worth between Democrats and Republicans. He meant that the Democrats wanted to control your money and the Republicans wanted to control your body.

I should not be surprised by the Republican Scozzafava throwing her support behind a Democrat. She has supported many Democratic causes, which Michelle Malkin has been tracking. I often thought they really were different. Glenn Beck interviewed Douglas Hoffman, the Conservative challenger to Democrat Bill Owens. Douglas Hoffman has been willing to sign the 9/12 candidate's pledge. It isn't the Contract with America, but it is something that stands for some kind of principle.
