Disgusted with Our Officials

I have been really disgusted with the vote on Sat on the House Health Care Bill. Much of my anger comes from officials willing to vote on something that criminalizes Americans for not buying a 15,000 health care plan. Doesn't matter if they are not doctors who actually deal with sick people. They can just pass laws and pretend to be God.

The Anchoress sums it up quite nicely. Not only has our freedom been given away by these representatives. I know that comparing this Government to a bunch of Nazis gives you the kook label. But looking at this slow progression of laws, shows how laws can escalate to something more evil and destructive. This had to do with being a citizen. Can you be mandated to buy insurance to keep your rights as a US citizen? I while back I watched a gentleman talk about how you should always invoke the fifth because there were so many laws that all of us are criminals in some way, even if by accident.

I think John Voight got it right in An American Carol. Nancy Pelosi and our other elected officials have become more and more like the Phony Prince John in Disney's Robin Hood. They think they know more about our medical needs than those who treat the sick. They learn nothing from history even when they defy rational behavior. Groupthink and mindlessness is alive and well. God forbid, you disagree with us or have better ideas than us. We will Alinisky you. We will rewrite history to glorify the ones who got things done without nasty accountability. All to seem superior and wiser, deconstruct and re-construct.

I bet if we try real hard, we can find other signs of hypocrisy. Someone commented on Gateway Pundit, from the Sex Pistols. "Anger is Energy." Thanks Dr Helen. Hope we are angry enough to protest and vote these bastards out.
