Health Care Crapfest

Just read my dose of Rush Limbaugh. There are nasty changes afoot in Obama Care for senior citizens, even with out the big vote.
When John Lennon died, I was in eighth grade. Our teacher made us listen to "Imagine" as a tribute. And like the soundtrack to Rent, I have come to hate it. It feels like to excel and want things is selling out, that the world would be better without possessions or religious belief...things that make us individual. Why must people treat us like they are so superior when they are mooching off our taxes, our hopes, and our individuality?
I left a church I loved because they were more concerned with left wing politics and getting Barack Obama elected than helping with the spiritual growth of its members. I still miss it. I often wish I didn't out grow things, people, and events that gave me meaning in life.

When I went to a convention for UCC women in VT, there was Bush bashing at every meal. Some woman was praising Hugo Chavez for standing up to Bush. Everything that was wrong with this country began and ended with Bush. I could not understand how educated people who understood World War 2 or saw 9/11, could still scapegoat others when we saw the destruction caused by hating those who don't believe what you believe.

Starting Off

My husband came up with this based on the things I put on facebook. Most Liberal friends tune out what I write. Or because of what bothers me, I get the old, "you are too negative," rational. I remember when Bush was in office, I was the optimist and my friends were pessimists.

Well, lets start in smooth and non political...I was always into the whole virtual pets thing. Mostly because real life doesn't work as you want. You can control things to get the outcome you want. But the Japanese will always come up with something that challenges reality and what we think we can do.
