I found this quote from Rush Limbaugh about the double standard of what men in Washington can do and progress politically and what women are condemned for.
" I think the bigger point here is -- and it's happening in the Republican Party, but the supposed home of tolerance, open-mindedness, progressivism, feminism all that, the Democrat Party, liberalism, they are the ones that are viciously attacking this woman. They are the ones who viciously attacked all of Bill Clinton's babes. The feminazis never once came to the defense of Paula Jones or Monica Lewinsky. They joined in the chorus line calling them trailer trash or gold diggers or what have you. And we made mention of this last week, the observation here that, well, you can dump on these women all you want and nobody is coming to their defense whatsoever. It is a double standard, there's no question about it. But I like what Sarah Palin's advice to Christine O'Donnell earlier today was via her Twitter account, and that is don't get caught up responding to what people in the Drive-By Media say. It's like Levin said yesterday, it was a brilliant thing not to go on these Sunday shows. You have nothing to gain going on those shows. Those people are not your voters. There's nothing to gain. You have nothing to prove to the inside the Beltway media people if you're Christine O'Donnell or me or you or anybody. There's no reason to go play their game on their turf. Her election future is in Delaware, and that's where she needs to focus her attention and her efforts. The dirty little secret is that there are a lot more Democrats who know she's gonna win and there are a lot more Democrats who fear she's going to win than will ever admit it."
Thank you, Rush.
